Zenobia Anastasia Shedd, died four days after her 91st birthday. Zenobia was a smart, independent woman and a self-described "stubborn Canuck". She was born in Sheho, Saskatchewan and as a young adult worked as a country teacher. She was married to Robert J. Shedd, and after his death in 1967, Zenobia attended business school and worked as an executive secretary at Rotary International in Evanston. Zenobia was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Evanston and the Senior Center at Mallinckrodt. Preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Wesley and sister,...

Zenobia Anastasia Shedd, died four days after her 91st birthday. Zenobia was a smart, independent woman and a self-described "stubborn Canuck". She was born in Sheho, Saskatchewan and as a young adult worked as a country teacher. She was married to Robert J. Shedd, and after his death in 1967, Zenobia attended business school and worked as an executive secretary at Rotary International in Evanston. Zenobia was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Evanston and the Senior Center at Mallinckrodt. Preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Wesley and sister, Helen Barr, she is survived by her older sister, Olga Siery, many nieces and nephews and by her two beloved cats, Sam and Georgie. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 1 PM at First United Methodist Church, 516 Church St., Evanston.
